The New York Times has a yearly programme of competitions that enable my young people to consider argumentative writing, memoir, media literacy and more. It has been my true honour to work with young people to research, outline, draft, reshape and submit their brave writing for these competitions. Here are some of our recent wins!

"Hi Angie,
I just went on the NYT webpage and checked out the results of the Review Contest. Luckily, I got an honourable mention award :) This would have been impossible should I not have had your assistance in writing and editing my review. Thanks a lot for your support and encouragement throughout all the contests we have attended." - Henry

New York Times 2023 Student Summer Reading
The 14th Annual Summer Reading Contest invites Middle and high school students to answer the question:
"What got your attention in The Times this week and why?”.
So far, more than 90,000 have done so, and I'm lucky enough to have one of my student win, and another achieve an honourable mention in The New York Times.
